Every year the Buttonwood Farm in Griswold, CT grows 10 acres of sunflowers. People come from all around to visit and photograph this field. Donations are collected for the Make –A-Wish foundation.
This image is the first of series of still life images focused on poking fun of sayings. Here we have “Hot Shots”. Captured in March 2013, this image was created with a light box and three off camera flashes. I focused on creating interesting shadows. This shadow looks like one large pepper created out of four small peppers.
Abandoned Mondry Grain Company Elevator. The Mondry Grain elevator is located in the ghost town of Ardoch, North Dakota. Founded in 1881, Ardoch was a small town servicing the agricultural needs in the region. This high dynamic range photograph depicts the elevator in late winter at sunset.
